My passion for scuba diving started when I was 13 yo. At first, I was a bit unsure about what scuba diving was, but after trying it, I absolutely loved it! I was officially appointed as Dive Master in 2012 and now I am a Scuba Diving Instructor with more than 12000 dives recorded in my logbook. I am curious about marine life and I like to share my experience with anyone interested. Scuba Diving is, without any doubt, my everything!
Scuba Diving is my everything!
Ever since I could remember, I have always loved going swimming. By the time i was 8, I came to know what diving was and it caught my interest.
I had my first dive when I was 10 and ever since then I knew it was my calling.
Now with more than 6 years of diving under my belt, I can confidently say that this is what I am passionate and grateful for in life.
This is my life
The moment that I took my first breath underwater a magical world opened to my eyes, my life totally changed and since then I never stopped diving. I made a profession out of my passion and my heart found its home in the beautiful and rich water of the Maldivian ocean. Every time I dive, I feel enthusiastic like the first time and I always try to share my love for scuba diving to all the divers that I guide.
My heart found its home in the Maldivian ocean
I look at the sea and I kind of understand it. I am not sure about what it wants to tell me but I feel we have a connection. I have been a captain for most of my life. The honor of being appointed ‘best dive guide of the Maldives’ made me understand that I still have so much to learn from the Ocean. I am keen to understand its mechanism day after day to reward my divers with the best diving experience of their life.
I still have so much to learn from the Ocean
I waited until I was 25 years old to become a diver. Now I’m a diving instructor with more than 8000 dives made in 27 years all around the world and more than 1000 diving licenses issued. It is amazing to show the ocean life to the divers and share, while teaching and guiding, my passion. When I’m at home I like to travel everywhere, ride the mountain bike and I have a big passion for photography.
27 years around the globe
I started my professional career as a lawyer, but after my very first dive where I saw a turtle.
I knew this is what I wanted to do in the future!
My passion for diving is fueled by my curiosity to explore the hidden depths of the ocean. The feeling of weightlessness underwater, surrounded by vibrant marine life and all the quietness, it’s like meditation for me. All you have to do is relax your breath and before you know it, you’re flourishing underwater!
Relax and flourish underwater
Ethologist, Operations Manager and Sachika Cruise Director. My diving career started in the womb but it had a twist when I was 12 yo and my parents, both divers, allowed me to try scuba diving. My passion for the animals and the oceans accompanied me throughout my whole life. When I had to become an adult, I realized that my addiction was stronger than anything, so after studying hard ‘till getting my master degree in Ethology, I decided to transform my passion in my everyday life, working in the sea on my ‘home far away from home’: Sachika.
My addiction was stronger than anything
I come from Italy. I started this amazing adventure in 1998, and since then I have had the luck to dive and work in some amazing places: Red Sea, Caribbean, and now… the Maldives, which I love! This ocean can give you the best dive of your life anytime! If you ask me, I am having a lot of fun! There is truly something magic below the surface. Have fun!
Something magic below the surface
I fell in love with Scuba Diving in 2009 during a vacation with friends. It has been a passion growing ever since, changing the way I look at the sea, myself and at the world. I decided to become an instructor so that I could share the passion for the sea and the importance of its conservation with the most people possible. I am also an avid rebreather diver in lakes and as long as my head is underwater there are no bad dives!

In Top Class Cruising, we prioritize the individual importance of our guests and our crew. When we say “safety first”, we mean it! Safari boats and diving decks can be dangerous, it is well known!
That is why it is vital for us to prevent accidents from happening. We are very attentive when it comes to explaining safety procedures. We are always there, overviewing your actions, in neuralgic moments of our daily routine: preparation of the equipment, transfer by tender, movements between boats, divers pick up and so on.
Divers are trained to. Even though we believe in the common sense of all our clients and we know that recreational divers are trained to avoid hurtful scenarios, in case anything unpleasant happens! For diving emergencies, we are in constant contact with DAN experts and Hyperbaric doctors from the closest facilities.
Oxygen therapy is always available onboard and the majority of our crew knows how to provide it.
